Kleemann Headers and ECU

Kleemann Headers and ECU
Been doing some research and noticed Kleemann had these going for $1500 a few months ago. Does anyone know if this was a temp sale or if they dropped the price to that amount?
Also wondering if anyone has a dyno of that combo or what I could expect to gain.
Thanks!

The blue line is before and the redline is after. This is with the kleemann headers + ecu. I already had a LET tune on the vehicle where it dynoed at 317 with tune + 2nd cat delete.

They are a 4-1 design.

Take this for what it is... Here in AZ we have kind of strict emissions testing I guess. A catless E55 strolled into the inspection station for testing... In AZ you get two tries at it. Not sure what happens if you fail the second time They plugged the car in via obdII and the car passed. I guess here in AZ you only have to pass 3 out of 4 tests.

Hmm. Makes me nervous. I haven't had a car inspected in a long time (2 years) and I swear they stuck a device in the tail pipe. In addition on highway on ramps there are emissions testing stations with cameras setup from time to time. Not sure if they give you a ticket or what but I believe Texas might be stricter than any of the other states mentioned.

Here are links for my county in regard to what they look for. Let me know what you all think I could do and have no problem. If I remember the secondary cats do not have any 02 sensors on them? If so I would assume there is no way for the OBDII system to know if they are there or not?

NY is an OBDII state, so I passed with no primary cats and high flow secondary cats -- no mirror inspection. However, with good installation and proper welding techniques, if the inspector is not a Benz mechanic he is not likely to miss one set of cats with a mirror or even a lift. Back when NY was a sniffer State (putting a sensor in the tail pipe and reading emissions with the car on a dyno), my 300 E passed without the primary cats. MB uses primary cats for cold start emissions remediation, so, if you warm the car up well before your sniffer test, you should pass without one set of cats.
Edit -- from your post, you are an OBDII State. To pass you will have to have your ECU programed not to throw a code -- this is part of the Kleeman header package.
Good Luck!

Heya SKent -
I am considering the Kleemann M113k Header kit and the Supercharger pulley kit with ECU and Trans chips reprogrammed. I live in the DFW area also and wonder if you opted in and how the emissions tests went? Thanks.
