Unfortunately there is no link, just someone that had removed it off their car.

Yes, you need the hood latch as well. The c55 latch is longer iirc.

Whats up bro!

I've been working on doing the same swap but haven had much luck on any info or if it was even possible, until i came across this forum.

What mods did you have to do to get the calipers to fit?:

Did the caliper bolt pattern front and rear from the 8/4 pistons line up to the c55's 4/2 pistons front and rear?
Did you have to drill out the bolt size?
Did you have to cut the front and rear dust shields to get them to bolt up?
Since its double the pistons from a c55, did you have to upgrade or change out the brake master cylinder, lines, booster, etc... to compensate for more pistons?
Did you go with 360mm rotors in the front and 330mm in the rear or use the stock c55 rotors?
Did you HAVE to go with 19's to clear the caliper or will the Sotck e55's clear the calipers on the c55?

Sorry bro sooo many freakn questions, any help would be awesome! thanks brother!

I know, and ten years later there still isnt anything on 8/4 swap on a C55. only 6/4 swap.

6/4 "CLK55/CLK63/SLK55" calipers & Rotors will 99% bolt-on,,

8/4 "55K's" calipers will fit, but needs some mods., Rotors won't fit, due to differ offset & thickness..

thanks brutha,

Ok i purchased 360mm rotors for the front and 330mm rears, so i SHOULD be good as far as rotors, right? and aside from drilling out the bolt hole and trimming back the dust shield, what else would i need to do to make the 8/4 fit properly? I already use spacers for the rims. would i need to go with a thicker spacer?

55K's won't fit for sure, cause offset is sooooo high, which is (64.5mm),,

offset should to be (49.5mm), or max of (54.5mm)..!!

And what about Rears (330mm),

Are you tracking this car? I have the 6 front 4 rear on my 05 clk55. I have had the 4 front 4 rear on a 03 clk55 and a 06 c55. I feel like the 4 fronts are more than enough. The cost different in the rotors and pads don't justify the aesthetic upgrade IMHO. The only reason to go to the bigger setup is looks and brake fade.

cost for 4 pin front rotors - MB OE - $250
cost for 6 pin 2 piece front rotors - Brembo after markets - $700

OE front rotors for the 6 pot $1060https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...1714210112set/

(6/4) & (8/4) brakes are the one of the best performance PK upgrade that "AMG/Brembo" provides,,

4/2 brakes looks sooooo boring, and performed weak, compared to (6/4)..!!,

really not worth it to see it on AMG models..,

(6/4) are great, and fear enough for "C32/C55", and absolutely deserves to give it a shot,,

i'v done (8/6) on my 06 "SLK55", love it more, Thanks GOD..
