First oil change just want to confirm

Hey all

Going to change oil and wanted to make sure this is the sucker tube for oil and doesn't go to the transmission.

I think thats the transmission, Cause thats where its usally located for the 722.6 but then again I don't have a C55

Thanks... but anyone with a C55 want to chime in... It seems I read in one of the other 25 oil change posts that this is it. I just want to confirm.

That is engine oil...the trans has a lock on the cap. If you pull off the air cleaner housing, or just look lower, you will see the trans dipstick tube.

well guys, First oil change was a success, I wish I had bought a mityvac a long time ago.

got 8 quarts out, and put 8 quarts in. now I have to read on how to reset the computer. This mityvac is going to make changing the SLK32 a whole lot easier too!

While I was at it I put on my AMG Flat badge on hood and boot badge as well. I was as careful as possible with removing the boot star and that thing still ended up breaking on me. very brittle little piece of plastic.
