Sunroof issues -- anyone experience this?
I'm only able to retract my sunroof bit by bit -- meaning I'm unable to just hold down the 'open' button to slide it back, I have to repeatedly hit the button so it inches back.
Anyone have this problem and/or solution?

If you've recently unplugged the battery, you may need to re-adapt the sunroof. The instructions are in your manual.
Another problem for older cars is the rails may not be greased properly. Do a search to find out how to fix this.
Lastly, if you know someone with a Star computer, they can take the safety precautions off of the sunroof, meaning it dosen't detect obtrusions. I have this done on my car and it will crush cans while closing.

^that. Mine wont close with the one touch. I have to hold it down otherwise it just about closes, then backs up and opens up halfway. Very annoying.

It sounds like it needs to be greased. I've used silicon spray and lithium grease (not at the same time). They both worked equally well. I had this issue a while ago and it turned out one of the feet (don't know what they're actually called) was stuck in one of the tracks. After getting that out and a little lube it worked perfect.

Not to threadjack, but where are the drainholes located for the sunroof? I think mine are clogged because I had a little drip yesterday when it was raining really hard. I looked at the seal and everything looked ok. Anyone else have this problem?

move the sunroof back inch by inch to the back stop. once it is all the way back hold the button back for another 3 seconds or so. then hold the button foward and once it reaches the front stop continue to hold the button for another 3 seconds or so and then you should be all good.

Usually the rails just need grease, and a sensor reset...
But in the worse case scenario and it wont close in the glove box you should have the manual Allen wrench to manually close it by removing the sunroof and light cover to expose the manual screw and you can open or close it from there. The wrench is bent like an stretched S and is a brass color. Or you can use a long length regular Allen wrench too.
Something like this but bigger (could not find an exact picture)
