I also plan to get the K3 which consists of the camshafts and also I want a Quafie LSD.

Should have done the cams b/4 you did the install?? Now you gotta take the whole top off again. I hear they don't give much, 10-20 rwhp if that?? Ask Mike, Alumar, I think he's got the cams in his?? I still haven't done my Quaife, which has been in a box for about a year now??

+1, Chicago Performance told me the same thing about the Kleemann cooling? A C32 HE would do just fine if you can get one from Eurocharged or HP??

Corey told me the kleemann h/e is adequate for even the hottest climates. He's got cars running kleemann out of the box h/e with no issues in Az, and So Fl.
We'll see how it works out next summer in Hot Houston weather.

I don't plan to hot lap this car, and if I get heatsoaked in houston traffic, I realize I might have to cool things off by running down the highway a bit, before WOT runs. Not a big deal for me.

I've asked Kleemann a while ago about H/E they think its more than enough for the hottest climates, I am just waiting for their response in regards to my tune and dyno. I still think there is more to do, might need a re-map to sort out the A/F and get more power out of it.

A revised H/E setup might be necessary if your start over spinning the blower with a smaller pulley.

There are other options as well..... methanol injection setups, or a mister sprayer on the h/e at the front bumper. Or a nice small shot of NOS 25-40hp has a good cooling effect.

There are about 5 guys I know , including myself, who have "55 engine Kleemans". All of them run rich for some reason?? I know that mine, Mikes and another guy in FL run very rich. I hear that Jeremy at OT Tuning can tune the engine so it doesn't run so "rich".

alroumi,

I will post the Dyno Charts from Kleemann's Dyno tune I had in May ... they did 46 pulls with it, should give you some good data. Let me see if Cory will make one PDF with them all in it.

I was pulling a 380-400rwhp on dynamics dyno when my A/F was real rich, after the kleemann rebuild i had 70 more hp ... My blower though is the older autorotor version, twin screw lysom .. not the eaton verson.

Ofcourse Kleemann will tell you that their HE is big enough for all the weathers in the world. But it doesn't take that much of a scientist to see that it's to small when you look at it! Not only that it's to small, you loose a lot of water flow/cooling when you let the water in/out on the same side as they do on the stock Kleemann HE.

Look at a front mounted air IC, they doesn't let the air in/out on the same side for one reason (cooling). So the best solution is to the same with water and let the water in from one side and out on the other And it doesn't matter how much boost you are on, you will loose cooling even if you are at stock pulley (2.8").

Mike, how in the world did they get "70 rwhp" more Hp out of the car?? I too have the Autorotor and would love to see how they did that?? Did they give you any data, change the MAF or re-tune?? I know that you're running a "smaller" pulley and that should account for about 20-30 HP.

Looks like someone (moi) is taking a drive to CO !!!

Just drove the car, lots of traffic didnt feel very fast but when I got it on the highway I was able to hit 240kmh much quicker than my old attempts without the supercharger.

Without the supercharger I might just hit 200-220 barely, even when I slowed down in the K2 Kleemann I think the stock car needs a couple of more seconds to go to hit 240kmh.

Highway pull seems fast at top end, it is a hot day today and lots of traffic so couldnt get a clear verdict. I asked the tech if it felt fast, he said yes. However, behind a wheel its like playing Granturismo or Forza its that easy to drive at 120kmh beyond below that esp light comes on a lot.

The power delivery felt very linear, in a good way it feels very oem for a modified car.

I think it had a lot to do with my A/F issues... i was running pig rich.. south of 10.0...off the charts

After the rebuild and A/F issues resolved holds strong 12.3-12.7 through the range, it was a major increase in power.

Got the car back today:

I've got many good things to say:
1) Drives like oem
2) No heat generating through traffic, temps consistent like oem
3) Power delivery very smooth for a Supercharger no sudden boost curve or lag
4) I couldnt hear the supercharger whine my exhaust system is too loud.

End product:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Note to self: Traction control always on due to :

0-140kmh spinning

Gets the tail-out as little as 2,000rpm

Side shot:

Warning for service tech's comes with all Kleemann kompressor kits:

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

I'd like to applaud member Rouven036 who is my friend and tech, he did the work and is a quality install.

I absolutely love the car.

WOW, you can hear it in the videos!! Great acceleration!! And to remind everyone, thats with a Quaife LSD!!

Thats it!! My cars going to Kleemann for some "tuning" You dyno chart is identical to mine with the A/F ratios.

What LSD's are out there, I know of Quafie, Brabus and Kleemann.

I just spun both wheels at 80kmh, downshifted to 3rd with esp off and the car nearly jumped to the next lane.

Mike, even ESP off and in "S", my car just annihilates the tires!! Even better when its about 40 out and the DAs are off the charts great!! Kleemann's just love "cold air"

To be totally honest, I quiet liked the feeling of spinning the wheels at 80 kmh, it just shows you how much of monster the car is. Even at 140 the esp light goes on, It pulls like crazy and reaches speeds of 240-250 much easily and quicker compared to the stock car.

Just sent my ECU to Eurocharged they did a good job with my G55 tune and now adjusting my SLK55 A/F ratio hope to get another 20 or so HP out of it with correct fuel distribution.

Did you mean to put this in a 5 1/2 year old Kleeman thread?
