whats up guys, I have a o2 C32 that the Aux fan stays running in high speed with no ac on and the car cold or operating temp until i turn the car all the way off. I havnt dug into it yet, but just seeing if any one had this issue or or have heard of this, it would make diagnosing easier. I already have a couple ideas before i dig into it. Wanna see what u guys think

Does it sound like a vacuum cleaner and sound like its running at a high rpm? If so, it the secondary ir pump a.k.a smog pump. Try pulling the relay or disconnect the pump. If that stops the problem, it's definitely the smg pump. Problem is, they run at a high rpm and are designed torun for 60 secs on cold starts. Unfortunately, if you didn't burn it up yet, it's about to burn up. Problem is, the damn AMG Bosch pump runs from $400-600. A regular smg pump will run you $100 but AMG kicks the price tag up for a worthless part up a few hundred dollars.

CAUSE - a $20 purple relay. I've been through a few and I've only had the car a few years. Get a new relay ASAP. In the meantime disconnect the pump to regent further damage - part # A 002 542 65 19.
