Kleemann Header and Dual Exhaust Dyno Results

As promised...my baseline dyno from back in June with only mods being eliminated secondaries and K&Ns before and same with Eurocharged tune after came out to 293.9hp/299.7tq before and 304.9hp/314.4tq after. Went back to the same place to get a more realistic idea of my gains. Today's dyno is with Kleemann headers and a dual exhaust w/ X-pipe. Gotta say thanks to Adam and Jerry at Eurocharged for taking so much time to tweak everything, and the remote tuning kicked ***! Video here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKG3zY-09jM

Thanks betreza, I need to get a video of my car going through a tunnel under the PA turnpike up at my father's house...it's an eye opener lol.

Definitely pleased AKnight, it'll keep me happy while I work on some intake mods

No cats whatsoever MBfinatic, Kleemann headers to 2.5" stainless duals w/ x-pipe, stock AMG mufflers. Yup, 377rwhp, BUT...keep in mind this was a Dynojet. I've heard that a Mustang or Dyno Dynamics would read anywhere from 10-15% lower. Still have plenty on the to-do list though!

WOW, I do believe that has to be one of the highest, if not the highest NA M113 whp out there.

Please do us a favor and take it the 1/4 mi. I cannot wait to see the results.

Congrats!

Are these numbers STD or SAE corrected?

He had long tubes though, the Kleemanns are mid-length.

Very impressive gains for just exhaust work and tune.

Thanks everyone! No ball-busting inferred MB If I'm not mistaken, Hooley did 389rwhp on a Dynojet (don't recall if that was with his 100 octane tune or not though) and alroumi did 393rwhp (an SLK55 tho, not sure of any driveline differences that would effect results), so not the highest, but hopefully on my way lol. Evosport UDP's will be on the way soon and then some MUCH lighter Forgestars and super stickies (Absolutely DYING to head to MIR Nachtsturm!) come bonus/tax time. I'd get them sooner, but I found a nail in my rear tire at the dyno, so new all-seasons will be on the way as the Bremmas will be my winter setup.

If you look at the dyno chart, it really looks like I'm running out of breath up high, so I'm learning about how to mold CF... let you know how it turns out, but I'm not in a major rush.

No doubt actually, I was leaning more towards aluminized fiberglass but same technique for the molding. The color would look great on my white car

You are correct Sir, Eurocharged had the dyno day there back in June so I drove all the way back down from Baltimore to see what I made on the same dyno

Would be great to see. I know the UDP pulley yielded about 5whp under the curve and 2whp peak on someones dyno on here.

MIR?! So jealous lol. I have to stick with my avg 1500-1800 DA here. I am going to dyno, really curious how it goes. I was expecting 330whp on a dyno jet, but

Then down the road I will add high flow secondaries and a Renntech airbox if i can find one for just a little cheaper. Then perhaps a retune.

My goal is a 12 second ET, full weight, on my Conti DWS A/S's.

Any set goals?

I installed the Evosport UD pulley kit on my 4.2 M113. I know its not the same motor as your 55 but it should yield similar results.

Here is a link to my before and after Dyno (post #76)
https://mbworld.org/forums/c36-amg-c...o-run-c43.html

You will definitely feel a little bit more power but the real joy is the quicker REV's. It's not like night and day but it is DEFINITELY noticeable.

Whats funny is I just received my Kleemann headers and will be installing them followed by a Eurocharged tune. Somehow I am doubting 70+ RWHP in my case, truly I would be EXCITED about 30+ RWHP. I will be posting my results in my thread I linked above if you guys are interested.

Does anyone know if the E55K headers would work for the C55 or is it platform specific? I've see quite a few E55K member selling their headers.

I'm in Baltimore County just east of Towson...Chris at Moore is a good guy, I think he did 12 pulls for me over 3 hours and only charged me $150

Same for Adam and Jerry at Eurocharged, they reflashed my car 4 or 5 times to get it perfect. AWESOME customer service.

I'd really like to have some DRs to make up for my newbie skills, but the only set goal is to not embarass myself lol

Lol, I've been checking in on your thread for a while 503, I guarantee whatever the gains you won't be able to scrape the grin off your face when you hear it

They look the same to me (at least the Kleemanns) but I never could get an answer after much searching before I purchased mine. I do know that they have different p/n's from Kleemann...maybe Cory @ Kleemann could answer definitively.
