i just got mine from parts.com for $350 shipped. It definitely pulls harder in the upper rpm with the sl55 intake. Mid and low range power seems to be the same. I should have a dyno next week when jeremy can retune my car.

I was piecing together the intake from the part numbers that you provided in another thread last week. Tempting, but just have to hold back

Keep us updated with the retune! I am planning to do my dyno runs soon enough.

OP, I apologize for the OT, but I am sure you would want the SL55 Intake to compliment that HE

a land yacht.
I do! although with the recent posts about the flow tests of the air....looks like I am leaning towards the FMU intake setup...which looks pretty cool as well

Quick question. I see you left a half inch or so gap between the impact bar, and heat exchanger. Was this required or just how you ended up mounting it? I bought a heat exchanger 26x7x2 and need to make brackets for install.

Forget that question. Looked at the photograph again to see it's less than half an inch and after replacing my radiator today I know there's two tubes running under the impact bar... Can't wait to get this new heat exchanger installed! Another question however. Can I make a bracket which sets the heat exchanger back towards the engine more? That way I have room to install some fans...

I checked for leaks and was fine when the car was not rolling. I then installed the bumper and everything else and did a quick run. When I got home and pulled into the garage the damn thing leaked like crazy from the two hoses

So I had to remove the bumper again, which only took me 10 minutes this time and fixed the leaks and everything is great.

A quick review though, the car pulls constantly with HE, even in 95 F weather. I didn't know what heat soak was until I felt the difference with HE.

I absolutely LOVED it, definitely a "must get" for C32s especially if you're modded. Now onto dyno runs and get comparos with stock.

Ever get those comparative dyno runs??
