Do I new a tune - when I get new pulleys on my C32
Hey Folks,
Got a needswings 178 pulley kit that I'm trying to find somewhere in Melbourne, Australia to get it installed. Place I'm talking to has a very good reputation - but can't do a tune - I asked if I needed one and they said, "The adaptive systems should self adjust to the new levels. So theoretically it doesn't need re-tuning, it will self adapt when reset."
Does that sound right? Any other comments/thoughts?
Cheers
Ed

Well yes and no my friend.
I put a larger pulley on mine, road raced her, autocrossed, and draged it with NO ISSUES at all.
However, IF you want to unlock the cars NEW potential than YES you need a tune. You are probably giving up around 20 HP.
So then, the choice is yours. Leave it alone, and YES you will be fine. Or tune it and pick up some more ponies

ideally that would be a tune on a dyno right? But if I had to mail my ECU off, get it tuned with a 178 pulley profile, and get it back that would be an OK (ish) outcome?
