WTF - how hard it is to put a transmission dipstick in a freaking car! After considerable search it seems there are two or three variations in what is the proper dipstick for the C32 transmission.

Can anyone point me to the right one? I would prefer aftermarket. I am not paying $75 for the MB "measuring tool"

That's the problem...there are several variations on Ebay. They range from $18 - 65.

I took my car to the dealership without one, and they gave it back to me with one!

I guess the $1700 repair was enough to give me a free dipstick.. of course odds are I payed for the dipstick within that repair..

Rear main engine seal + valve cover gasket. They have to pull the tranny for the former. Almost did it myself with my gf's dad, but we couldn't find a lift to use

HELP! I have C 32 AMG 2002 .I don`t understand almost anything abotu cars.My question is: HOW MANY selenoids my transmission has, is it very expensive to change them?
