Supercharger bearing or something else?

When i let off the gas on my c32 and the car is slowing down, the pulley or bearing makes a loud crackling/distorted sound almost as if the bearing is bad or needs some grease, lol, but it doesnt happen when i hit the accelerator. does that mean i need to replace the supercharger pulley bearing or am i looking at internal problems?

Well i have the EC 181mm pulley kit coming, so that would replace the idler pulley. How would i tell if the supercharger pulley bearing is bad? heres a video i found that someone posted about their c32 s/c pulley bearing. my supercharger is NOT doing that, so would you say that bearing is alright then? heres the video

According to this thread (post #20)https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c...y-bearing.html, it says that the bearing only spins when the S/C is disengaged. thats why i started narrowing it down to the supercharger pulley bearing causing that screeching sound when i let off the gas.

the bearing in the video definitely was shot, you can hear it. Best bet for you would be to loosen the belt and spin each idler pulley to see if there is any significant play. New bearings almost no play. Its very easy to loosen the belt. just make sure you put it back correctly.
