Nice little part out going on over at benzworld, I may be looking to pick up the seats and shift knob, any idea if they will fit right in or with not too much fabrication? For those who may be interested in all the things that come on an Sl55:

Having owned both. I'd stick with the C55 seats. The SL55 seats leave something (more than a lame back massage) to be desired. They are my least favorite thing about my SL55.

IMO there is zero bolster support from the SL55 seats. I've tried just about every setting to add more support and its just not happening. Now if you can get C63 seat, Id do that in a hart beat.

If you don't mind me asking, why would you want that seat? It's heavier, not very supportive, etc..
Only seat i may consider put'n in a C would be full bucket or C63 / slk55 seats.. lol

Well, now that I know that they are heavier, and less supportive, and uncomfortable, I have no interest

Any one know if the shift knob from an auto SL 55 will fit though?

My seats have been called "surfboards covered in leather" by my lady.

I enjoy it a lot. The C55 was so much more ballistic though. One thing I've learned is... Dont have 580wtq when all you can fit is a 265 rear tire. There were some moments i felt like Ken Block by mistake. In all honestly the SL55 is kind of a rattle box. Then there is the strange sounds that come from the ABC system. The C55 with a true 55k motor would be an end all be all IMO. If I was doing it all over again, thats what I'd do.

Seat wise... I would jump at the chance to get a set of C63 seats. Even giving up the lame massage option.
