There is a company very close to bringing a new supercharger pulley to market, similar to the Code3 that was available years ago. I can't really provide any more information, but if you hold tight for a month or so you should hear about it.

Haven't seen that thread. Anyway, I'll have mine installed in the next week or so and we'll see how it turns out.

Right, but when Eurocharged comes out with it, it is probably going to cost way more than having a machine shop mill down a few millimeters on the stocker.

SLK55 AMG - Renntech Supercharged
Eurocharged has announced publicly on the XF forum that they will be taking orders on the pulley in a few weeks.

"our final production unit should be done in 2 weeks. We will be testing that on a car in tx and taking orders in approx 3 weeks

nice, i'm going to definitely wait to see the pricing. If it's too expensive, I'd rather just machine down the pulley. There really are no negatives from doing so.

I wouldn't say that...I have seen anything from too aggressive ribs that cause belt shredding, to taking off too much material causing the pully to warp under heat/stress, to not aggressive enough ribs that cause the belt to slip and or fall off.

Its not as simple as it seems.

already been done for a while. We have a few thousand miles on the prototypes and have the final version done in a week or two. They are out for plating now.

This is true, but if a machine shop were to measure the grooves before hand and replicate them after the pulley has been machined down a few MM there theoretically there should be no problem. Don't get me wrong, I'm waiting for you guys to come out with your pulley!

Its been done Jake, Code 3!! I havent heard of a Code 3 failure in the four years its been out, and other than mine (which was cut aggressively and shredded the belt BUT eventually resolved itself, the unit was good. Why not just do a Code 3 copy instead of reinventing the wheel?? I'll offer up mine if you need a specimen.

Any word on dimensions compared to a Code 3?? I can't see them going any smaller than the Code 3 without belt-wrap issues. Price as well?? Early Code 3s were about $400 bucks (at least that's what I paid for mine). Prolly the best way to offer this is a pulley + tune package. I can see Jake/Jerry doing it that way.
