Can CLK63 BS rear axle parts be used on C32?

I need to change/refresh my rear axle parts. Looking at MB WIS I see that some of the parts are common between the CLK63 BS and the C32 but others have different part numbers. Specifically Spring Control Arms, Struts, Camber Struts and Thrust Arms are different part numbers. And the price is 3 times more. So, are these CLK63 BS parts the same as the C32, just made out of aluminium vs steel. Or are they just different and would not fit the C32?

IIRC the CLK BS suspension was based off the E/CLS platform, where everything is larger, wider, and has different offsets (significantly different). My guess would be that no, nothing will fit.

It fits all are the C32, but you also need the rear spring legs of the BS
the geometry of the BS suspension is noticeably different, and much better than the original W203

the complete package is not really cheap

I don't know, but that's probably true. All the body mounts should be the same, so you just need to swap the entire suspension to get it to work (correctly). Then figure out how to cut your fenders for the width....

I don't think I need to cut anything. The CLK63 BS has a 66mm wider track but that may be due to a wider rear subframe and longer axles. The parts that hang off the subframe may be the same size, just different part numbers.
Some of the parts are actually the same. Like the Tie Rods are the same and the Control Arms may be the same (Control arms do have different part numbers but use the same cover which tells me that they are the same). The main questions that I have is related to the Struts, Camber Struts and Thrust Arms.
