Ferrari 360 Modena vs C32 AMG
55-105MPH race. Dead even start both of us holding gear high RPM. Modena pulls a few feet ahead when it hits higher RPM around 85MPH. Modena shifts and C32 pulls back up dead even with a few feet pull to 105MPH where we both let off. I have a feeling 4th gear would have gave it a run for it's money...

Nice run!!! The 360 Modena was originally a 12.8 car at about 110, so I believe that you DID in fact give him a good run. Was it stick or auto-Manual?? They are not that fast stock and came with 400 HP.
They do look fast though!!!Have you ever run your car in the qtr???

Not trying to depend the 360 but some 360s runs like crap and they aren't best on roll'n start.
Most owner just park their cars and usually drive them like a girl. Thats actually going to harm the engine..The engine is designed to be driven and driven HARD...Stock vs stock, 360 should win the race.. and at higher speed, you may have less chance (better aero, higher top speed, etc)

Not to take away from your achievement but that C32 absolutely butt raped a 360 as you can see.

Heh, I used the term in the sense that a Baby Benz AMG hung with and then pulled on a Ferrari. Granted it's a 360 but when you tell your friends you pulled on a Ferrari, they won't even ask what model it was....y'know since you just raped a FERRARI.
Now if you said you smoked a Chevy , I'd most certainly ask what kind of Chevy. So like I said, the cops are looking for that car and need a DNA test to confirm it was the perpetrator of said "rapeage".

Yes, I've ran my C32 in the quarter mile many times. At my high altitude fastest I can run is a 13.9 second. My friend down here has a modded C32 as well, and same results. N/A cars have it even worse in my area. Now that I'm running with upgraded heat exchanger should get down in the 13.5 range.
This 360 was definitely not stock. He for sure had exhaust work, and I doubt a stock Ferrari would sound like this one. I'm sure the guy was thinking to himself "look at this stupid sedan thinking it's going to race". While later we end up side by side at stop light and he wouldn't even look over... The Modena looked amazing no doubt!

That was Simonlam's C32 (on this board). There is an old video floating around of him racing his C32 against his 360. The C32 pulls slowly, but there were some variables, such as a passenger in the 360 and the A/C on in the 360. Nonetheless, it is certainly feasible that a heavily-modded C32 pulls on a stock 360, especially a spider.
