CPMS/Fuel Pump Symptoms?

CPMS/Fuel Pump Symptoms?
Hey guys,

I think my CPMS or Fuel Pump officially gave in.

My CEL came on today, I haven't cranked up the car since monday. The car sounds abnormal, it sounds a bit deep in terms off rev.

To the guys who experience such issues, what were the symptoms?

I'm gonna give up on the car.

if your fuel pump took a **** you wont hear it prime when you turn the key on and the fuel pump wont throw a code. cps will throw a code after so many cycles.

i agree, its probably cps. Even a dying fuel pump is strong enough to start the car, you just run lean at the upper rpm.

hmmmm it's prob the CPS then, hope I can crank up the car monday to bring it to my shop!

sorry guys but am having trouble starting my car and i was running lean been a while ago....may i ask what is CPMS?

oh, it wasnt the CPMS for me, it was actually the started, i changed it and its better than ever!
