Residue on oil cap? Heart be still...
My fancy little fading instrument cluster told me I need to add a quart of oil. I just did an oil change about a week ago (it was dirty, but not milky BTW) and didn't quite get it to the full mark. So last night I removed the oil cap and was alarmed to see a white film on the inside of the cap.
Needless to say...I am a bit distressed. Looks like coolant in the oil, but doesn't smell like it. The coolant reservoir is nice and clean. No leaks or drips anywhere. Is this condensation buildup or is this something more serious? Does your oil cap have a similar film underneath it?
I replace the OE radiator about a month ago.

I had the same buildup starting winter time with 5k on last oil change. The oil looked fine and not milky. I don't think the cap seals 100%, and that lets a little moisture in.
