Finally found CARB-approved, inexpensive primary cats for C32

Thanks!
As far as I can tell (and after hours of research and phone calls), the only aftermarket cat which is CARB-approved for the C32 is the Walker universal 81807. They are available at Pep Boys for $65 or so each. Note: Be careful when ordering from Pep Boys. . . they insisted that the model which I really needed was the 81802. This is incorrect, as the 81802 is for the other 49 states, and is not CARB-approved. I actually had to get the Pep Boys manager to call Walker to confirm that the California model is the 81807. In any case, these Walker cats have a 50,000 mile warranty.
If you need CARB-approved secondaries, they are Walker model 81660.
Thought this might be good info for my Cali brethren.
I'm not mechanical so asking a dumb question here, are the Walker 81802's suggested because they are similar in size to the OEM secondary catalytic converters on the C32? i'm not in CA so these are the non-CARB ones that it looks like would work for my C32.
ALSO - to install these, I guess you have to cut the pipe in two places just before and after the existing OEM cat and then have the new Walker welded in correct?
i'm banging my head on the wall sorting out how to fix my rattling secondary cat's so this option with the Walkers sounds like its working for a bunch of guys. the dealer is telling me to replace all 4 cat's since i'm at 100k miles and he says the primary ones will probably go out soon so just pay the $2k plus ($1k for each full section of pipe and both cat's) and get all 4 replaced....sounds like BS to me when you can go the Walker route with some custom welding and run you about $400 total or so.
thx for any feedback.

Thanks guys.
