C32 runs fine and randomly shuts off
Hey guys its been a while since I've been on I've been dealing with the car allot lately. So my car is randomly shutting off now for no apparent reason and later on when I go back to it it starts up like nothing ever happened. When it shuts off it kicks down and acts like there is no fuel or air idk. Maybe throttle body I'm thinking? Any help would be appreciated. BTW I have changed out both fuel pumps (found a higher flowing alternative for $70 for anyone needing one) MAP sensor, CPS sensor, fuel filter, IAT sensor as well as the coolant temp sensor all of which has improved my situation except for the random shut offs. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

maybe the fuel pump relay is on its way out? Have you confirmed pressure at the rail? DId you use a genuine MB part for the CPS? Cheap Chinese parts can be worse than your old oem sometimes.

I had the same symptoms of that in another vehicle (Nissan ldv) of mine and it was the coil pack that was on its way out. Don't know on yours but keep that in mind as well. It is normally the strangest things that mess you around.

I'm having the same issue currently and have replaced the same parts in the same order and now am having this issue described above. I can hear a vacuum leak on the passenger side so I'm going to further look into it tomorrow morning. I believe the intake plenum gasket on the passenger side is leaking.
It's a good thing I got this car for a steal. It sat for 4 years..
I just keep looking up until all the kinks are worked out!

Here is a link. In order to keep mine easy to return to stock I made some plug on wires to just make this a simple plug in and out install and the pump works great. I've read a ton of reviews and it seems like a great pump and quieter than the Walbro too from what I've read!
