2006 C55 AMG
Steering wheel controls
Can the steering wheel mountings around the buttons be replaced? Is it fairly straight forward? Is there any where to purchase them?

Previous owner seemed to scratch and scuff them up with jewlery.

Aston Martin V8 Vantage
You can take them off, sand them them down, and just spray paint them.two coats.i did it with the handles on my x5

Anyone ever paint them? What color did you use and what kind of paint?

I don't think anyone has done it, but that's what I'd personally use.nothing special, just go anywhere and get normal black spray paint.
