Rough shifting from 1st to 2nd gear....
Ok I've had rough shifting from 1st to 2nd ever since I bought this car. It only does it when I'm in traffic cruising slowly at roughly 10-15mph.
I spent $2,400 dollars about a month ago replacing my radiator, (with the newer style one) flushing the tranny fluid, replacing engine mount arms, and a couple other little things. (Still had the rough shifting)
Then my C32 one day craps out on me. I was driving and then all of a sudden you have no power but still maintaining speed. Took the car back into the mechanic for him to (without even looking at it) guaruntee that it was a bad mass airflow sensor. Ok He replaced that along with a radiator line he said was leaking....another $800 dollar bill.
Car runs great now EXCEPT like I said earlier...when I'm cruising in traffic at 10-15 mph the car shifts hard from 1st to 2nd....
Anyone heard of this, or has had the same problem before? AND YES...I searched the forum first but couldn't find much info on this exact problem.

The car isn't shifting. That is rough engagement of the torque converter. A very common problem routinely discussed on this forum in many threads. One possible solution is to upgrade TCU software to 2003 software.
