My C32 + Sprintbooster = loads of fun!
Ever since I got my C32 some months ago, it never really felt like a real AMG. My CLK55 is just so much better in so many ways. The C32 always seems to be in one higher gear than it should be, a massive lag when putting the foot down to overtake, responsiveness isn't quite up to what an AMG vehicle should feel like. Many of the posters/experts
here recommended a SprintBooster and I put my faith in their knowledge and got myself one late last year. Unfortunately, I was sent the wrong part to begin with and after lots of emails back and forth, I was finally sent the correct part last November. However, due to the heavy work load I was unable to get it fitted until today. Boy, is it worth the wait! The car now is a real joy to drive. It takes off with a gentle nudge of the pedal and accelerates from any cruising speed at will. I am so happy with this sprintbooster gadget!
I know that there are so many C32 owners on this forum complaining about similar symptons. All I can say is go and get yourself one of these and you will enjoy you investment a whole lot more!

Do you have the new "Jerry tune"? With this tune my throttle is so sensitive I'm scared to try the sprintbooster. lol. I don't even wanna take it for a car wash because it spins the tires so easily.

FYI: you need to make sure that you give the supplier all the information, ie year, model, AMG/non AMG and auto/manual, or else the part won't fit and you end up with lots of frustration of chasing the right part. Good luck

With the new model, there is an additional lead, which has a switch, that connects to this gadget, as shown in the photo in this thread.

I imagine the race mode is very "sensitive" to the throttle................

They have 2 versions of the old model, AMG and Non-AMG. The latter being the more aggressive. They compare the "sport" mode to the old AMG version, and the "race" mode to the more aggressive Non-AMG version.

I had trouble taking the pedal off to install so I outsourced it to my trusted indy-mechanic. I probably could have done it myself if I had the time and the energy. Anyway, he charged me $100 for the service, which I was more than happy to pay. He thoroughly tested it out and said to me that he couldn't believe the difference himself! He wants to get one for his old C280!
By the way, the part number on the box is: SBME0002S.
I'll reply to the other posts later over the weekend, I better go and enjoy the drive on the way home..CAN'T WAIT!!

I've had mine running on red all day, it's soooo much fun that I couldn't careless about the other setting.
The other side benefit that I've noticed is that the annoying jerkiness with the torque converter locking up has almost disappeared. I'm not sure why but it could be because of the responsiveness, the transmission seems to be in the right gear more often and the engine revs higher accordingly. It's bit hard to look carefully at the tacho while zooming in and out of traffic but I've noticed that the rev is generally closer to 2000rpm, whereas pre-booster was more around 1500rpm with normally driving pre-shifting down.

100 bucks! Took me a minute at a gas station while fillin up haha. Absolutely love the sprint booster. Makes the car feel so much better and makes up for the car being automatic in the turns
