I've had many girls refer to my car as a "beamer" even though they actually know it's a benz. I think a lot of girls are confused as to what "beamer" stands for. When I told one girl I had a merc, she wasn't impressed and thought I had a mercury.. ewww. As with all AMG cars, explaining things in words won't do it. You must take them for a drive.

Yeh, never. I have 3 MBs and 1 BMW. People tend to know the difference.

However, if they did mix it up I doubt I would correct them. Who wants to be the guy saying "Actualy, its a Mercedes-Benz"

You sure you live in Atlanta? I'm in Buckhead and see probably 10-20 supercars a week from my office window, and my desk faces away from the window.

IIRC Viper lives way out on the west side of town. Im up on the north side and most know the difference up here. Im more likely to have my car mistaken for the run of the mill C230s that are roaming all over the streets around me.

Yup I technically live west of the city and work even farther away southwest. I saw a silver or pewter C55 out here once, a black C63 (with a couple of older people driving that probably had no clue what they were doing and didnt respond to the AMG sibling next to them) and most recently have seen a stock hot white/blackroof E55 but a distracted lady was driving that too and probably had no clue of the 500 hp under the hood.

Mercedes doesn't exist out here.
