Emulation module. Need help/advice/ideas?
Just recently i had an indy shop change to a behr radiator. I got it back from them with a failed fan. They said it wasnt there fault, yadada. I took it somewhere else to have them replace the fan. They did and car was great for a month. After a afternoon of spirited driving and some fun my fan is now on all the time when the car is on. I took i back to the shop that replaced the fan and had them do it again and they replaced it. Didnt fix the problem of it always being on. He traced the issue to the Emulation module. It a proprietary part through mercedes dealership, where my car is currently sitting. I asked why this would fail like it has but they couldnt give me a very good answer. Any ideas?

emulation of what?
What is it that the emulation module is supposedly emulating?
How much does a fan module have to do?.....engine gets hot, turn fan on....engine gets cool, turn fan off.
I wonder what is being emulated?

2 things to check or recheck here: fan, if you have replaced the fan with a new one and the fan is still going on all time, you have to change ECU, cause the fan is controlled directly by the ECU, my brother has same problem with his clk55 he ended up changing ECU.
