New ECU
Hi,
My C55 AMG, had the ECU damaged, so I ordered a brand new from Germany. My question is, will I need to take it to the dealer to install the new ECU, or its a simple task, like plug and play? Will the ECU come from the factory programmed?

Who did you order it from? Did you give them your VIN number? The ECU needs to be coded to your VIN number.

I ordered via and official MB dealer, and yes, I gave them the VIN number of my car. I feel like my C55 got mad with me, coz I dont think I was treating her as I should. I´m now more than determined to take good care of it, coz I miss her so much... thanks guys if you could post me some good tips, on how to maintaing the C55 and keep it running always good.
