Mercedes C32 AMG
Telephone Buttons
So I did a search and didn't find to much. My 32 has a 2 phone icons on the steering wheel as well as numbers on the radio. (As I'm most do)
How exactly does this work? I don't really see where a phone would hook into the vehicle and I doubt there is bluetooth installed.

Buttons don't mean anything. All MB Steering wheels have those phone buttons. If you have phone pre-wired, look in your center console for a cradle or Bluetooth puck.

If your car came with the phone, then these buttons are used to answer / end calls and dial the phone. If you have ARGOS or a similar bluetooth installed they will do the same. Without those systems the numbers pretty much just choose preset radio stations and directly input radio stations by hitting star (or pound ?) first. The phone icons may also be part of the voice activation system. I forget though because mine was turned off by the dealer to fix some other stupid problem.
