worst luck ever

<rant>

So I haven't had a single speeding ticket in 6 years and having this car for a year and half no tickets at all.

The last 2 months I got THREE. 2 from the same cop (my fault, got distracted by my phone and didn't see his obvious camping ground) and one from an undercover state trooper.

How is that only NOW I'm getting tickets left and right...

My lawyer loves me.

It's called the Government is broke and they're trying to raise more revenue from us. Notice how fines have skyrockets as well.

I also have gotten two tickets recently as well.

I got a ticket PRINTED OUT by the cop this time too. I wasn't aware that I got at ticket until I left...he only took like 3 minutes and said "i let you off the hook" so I assume he gave me a warning and then noticed the paper and saw that it was a printed ticket....

I've only had one so far and it was in the Trailblazer! I jumped through their hoops and it didn't make it to my record. Don't need another one though, good thing no cops were out today on my way home. Some ******* in a F350 cut me off, I was in the left lane to pass him because he was driving slow as hell and he decided he needed to be in the left lane when I was a few feet from his rear bumper. So I drove like a complete d**k the rest of my way home.

I've been very fortunate in my car and I've only gotten one speeding ticket I think, but I had a lawyer take care of it.

After I got one ticket in the benz my wife got me a Passport 8500 for christmas. No speeding tickets since then and it has certainly saved me. You'd be surprised how much normal Ka band radar is still used.

Next step is a laser blocker to help with those pesky laser traps.

I have been pulled over 4 times for speeding I have 2 tickets right now for 100+ both were on long trips in the middle of no where one of them is scheduled for trial. I also bought a radar detector 9500ix works pretty well, but I havent had any real saves yet since I drive like a grandma now.

A speeding ticket is the tax you pay for driving fast.

I hear you all and sympathize. Many years ago I went down on a ton of speeding tickests. Very careful now -- I know the roads I use and keep my K40 w/ lazer diffuser on all the time. Well worth the investment; saved me at least 3-4 times. No convictions for speeding in my C55 (4 years, knock on wood), but then again, I do have a couple cops as car guy friends. Also, in adition to municipal fund raising, with the college kids going back to school this and next week, getting their last hurahhs in dad's car, etc. the cops are out in force through labor day. Now is the time to be especially careful.

Maybe go to court and tell them that story. Would you rather pay the fine based on 17 MPH over the limit? You were speeding and got caught - we all do.

In the late 80's I got two tickets two weeks apart, same street, same cop, same fricking speed! Second time the cop tells me "you look familiar do I know you?" Uhhh yeah, you pulled me over two weeks ago.

Yeah I got it 3 weeks apart by the same cop, same spot and was caught off guard because I looked down at my phone because I got a new email the first time, and a text the second time.

He pulls me over and in an irish accent "haven't i pulled you over before?" "oh man...yeah..." "you know the drill..."

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Just a few months

after some kid texting and checking email kills a child up in lk.stevens and some moron is *****ing about the cop giving him tickets.
I hope he loses his licence to drive like an idiot before his "lawyer" needs to defend him in court for the accident that kills someone.
Pretty obvious why he keeps getting tickets. Why question it when you drive like an ahole.
My advice grow up

I actually got a ticket for speeding on the Autobahn. I was going 150KPH when I noticed the speed limit had dropped to 100 KPH. Red flash and then bright white flash. 2 months later I lost my license for 30 days and had to pay $230.00. Luckily I had a month long training exercise and couldnt drive anyway.......
Now I cruise control everywhere........

80 on 55 limit on Skyline. And a $250 (after Judge offered a $100 discount) fine. Been being careful lately. Had to go to online schooling for this, too.

This happened last summer one beautiful Sunday morning. I filled the half full gas tank with fuel system cleaner and wanted to use it up so I went on a canyon run alone. Was actually doin close to 90 before a bend where smokey was waiting and he had to make a u-turn as I passed him.
But, a group run should be in the making soon.
