amg brochure

I picked up the brochure today and noticed two things. The door locks are different between the actual car and the one in the book. The second one, more importantly, I saw on the slk32 that they have charcoal/white(grey) leather. Is this something new for 2004 and just for the slk? I think it would be nice if they brought this color combo back to the C. Anyone have info?

Can you scan the pic of the door lock and post it here?

Sorry but I don't have a scanner. The door lock in the picture is similar to that of the new clk or BMW 3-series, it is a straight cyclinder shape versus the actual lock on the car where it flairs out at the top. Hope you guys understand this explanation.

I know this puts me squarely in the minority, but I like the factory door pins. It reminds me of the 16 valve I used to have that had the same exact pins on it. It's all about tradition: the star on the hood, the sticker on the window, the door pins.

Of course, my 16 valve never dreamed of having this much scoot (but apparently, Benzmac's does!)
