I am really shooting for that record when my car is done but if he sprayed as some tuners have suggested then I might as well give up any hope.
His run is posted somewhere on Youtube (two years ago) and it was an SC run with NO spray. Awesome driving if you ask me. It was a single lane run. In fact, when the tree goes down, he waits a good 3-5 seconds before taking off...

I know the C63 guys are gunning for it.

2006 Weistec 3.0L SC'd C55, 2006 MaxPsi PT6466 Turbo'd M3, 2019 Maserati GTS , 2020Alfa Quadrifoglio
The last record breaking 10.54 run was only a few months ago. He already posted his 10.66 run on dragtimes. Now I would like to see if his E55 can top it. Chime in Ahmad. You are famous already. I don't think any C63 will touch his record without spray but with that Weistec or X-tra Power SC kit combined with the Long tubes, tune and intake mods I definetly think it will happen unless that 7 speed tranny or high compression motor blows.

JRCart is having his Weistec SC installed as we speak on his Black Series so that'll be very telling as to what they can later do with the C63 as well. I am smelling low 10s on Jimmy's car if he can get the thing to hook. We'll see this spring at US 41 I hope!!

We'll see in less than two weeks at the Famoso event on March 25th. Cool, dry nightime desert air, should be good conditions for the new SC. As you mentioned hooking up will be the key but I have a couple new tricks to help out in that department as well.

Jim, now that Chicagoland weather is finally clearing, I'd say April or May is a good time for a US 41 track day? Whadya think?? 50 degree day with some good track prep??

I don't like US 41 too much, I had huge traction issues the last time I was there. I'd rather run Gateway or Route 66 Raceway, they have tougher tech inspections but the track prep is always 100%
