Conductor Plate?
I think, after reading posts here and randomly on the web, that I have a conductor plate problem, but I would like confirmation/suggestions of other causes.
When in Park, the car will creep forward under power like it was really in 2nd gear.
When in Drive, it acts like it is in 2nd gear.
When in Reverse, I get 0 power transfer to the wheels.
STAR diagnosis says everything is just fine - the transmission is not in "emergency mode" and no codes are active nor in memory.
Oh knowledgeable ones, is this the conductor plate/transmission wire plug? Any other possibilities such as the transmission computer?
