Never had a problem with those as well, usually a fanboi who "thinks" he knows how to drive!!! They can be tough in the rain though (digg)...... A strong running MazdaSpeed 3 will also take out an R32.

My ML 55 will smoke BOTH the Kleemann and the C32 in the rain to about 60 MPH because of the AWD!! Even worse in the snow

Ran a stick WS6 about two weeks ago and pulled him by about 3 cars to 80; he had exhaust mods. They are solid 13.5 sec cars stock. They are also heavy. Off the digg, they also tend to spin a lot. They are, however pretty fast with bolt-ons and SC kits too.

Looks good, except for the V8 badges. Those are OEM replicas from what model? Don't look familiar to me.

Were there any badges that came on these cars straight from the factory?

I like the V8 emblems A lot of folks order the V8 Kompressor emblems for the E55 etc and just use the V8 portion. Or, there are always the ebay ones...

It is true about people not believing lol. This reminds me when I met a guy in a white e46 m3 not to long ago. He had no idea what AMG was and that my car had a v8 under the hood... He thought the little V8 emblem was fake..

You should really do that ecu flash soon if you aren't expecting to do more as far as performance.i know they factor in the k&n's and not the resonator delete, but idk about your exhaust work.

+1, get it done and Jake and Jerry will back the tune!!!

I'd spring for the tune way before I'd do any other mods................

well i'd wait and see if tim (mbfinatic) is gonna do bolt on's like headers or something first. i may do headers in the summer if i don't plan on buying the porsche next year. but i do know that if you do do the flash now and you add stuff later, you pay like $100 more to get re-flashed with the update newz waiting on your flash man!!

My C32 is already Jerry flashed and the Kleemann has an, ehh, Kleemann tune, although I'd let Jerry/Jake take a look at that one.

after exhaust work I think im gonna get new wheels. Im thinking either some c63 reps, s65 reps, or something in matte black.

Getting rid of the resonator and second cats makes a lot of difference in the tone of the exhaust, but you won't get a lot of HP/TQ kick until you have the ECU reprogrammed. An xpipe gives you better tone but doesn't help with back pressure either. Only long tube headers and 100 cell cats can fix that. With un branded replica wheels you don't know what you're getting (unless they are a know manufacturer like Brabus or Carlson). Look at the C63 board and see if someone is going to off their factory wheels. They will be used but about the same price a replica's and way cheaper than Carlson or Brabus.

The V8 badges were not factory on the C55 in the US. Only the rear AMG and C55 were factory and since all the C class cars those years looked the same I took mine off just to mess with people.

The C55 only came with trunk badges (no fender badges at all) and nothing that said V8 on it.
