Best power steering fluid?
Picked up power steering fluid for top-up from the dealer today. They insisted that A 001 989 24 03 (conforming to MB 345.0, green like Pentosin) was the right thing. But it seems like my c32 has the brown MB 236.3 (A 000 989 8803) in it. Had to top it up to quiet down the PS pump, so now I will have to flush it - the original fluid is really dirty anyway. But which one is better to fill it up with?
Heard a lot of praise for the Pentosin - quiet when cold, has a 40 deg C higher temp rating etc, but is there something else I should know? It seems that only the colder climates get the Pentosin as OE fluid. Average summer day temp where I live is rather high, like in the 30's C / 90's F, and we rarely drop below 0C. Any advice?

I think you're missing it- Pentosin is a brand. They make a multitude of oils. For the Zentralhydraulikfluessigkeit (CHF), there are two main types- 7.1 (the common green one) and 11s, the red synth one. Choose correctly because, going back a couple decades now, most manufacturers don't advise changing, even if it's the intuitive "upgrade" to 11s from 7.1.
