looks awesome!
a lot of 7 series guys do a fake tip for the right side because of the spare tire
eventhou i decided to go with the exhaust tip on one side, i still think making a tip for the other side just for cosmetic purpose is OK and it is not rice.

Cool story bro here: I knew a kid in high school who purchased (probably a gift from his parents) the SXT Dodge Charger (I think this is the mid-line model) right after it came out. The guy thought he was pretty hot to trot and I won't lie I was jealous, being a poor high school student who drove a beat-up Volvo 960 (even though I loved that car) and given the fact that the revamped Charger was hot stuff when it first came out and was the first re-make to ignite a frenzy among automakers to reproduce retro models from their lineups of old. Anyways, the SXT only has a sole driver-side exhaust pipe. Not too long ago (we are both out of college now) I saw him driving the SXT but it looked like he had installed a faux exhaust tip on the passenger side (was dangling/bobbling around) to match the OEM exhaust on the driver-side and he had debadged the car to make it appear as if it could be an SRT-8. As childish as it sounds, it felt pretty good to see that he was still driving that (now overwhelmingly common/rental lot king)* Charger and was trying to pose it as a faster model. It was some form of vindication!
* Not hating on the Charger but just stating the facts. Still like the SRT8.

Pointless story.. The C32 is fast, it still has a C32 badge. Now somehow this is about being a poser? Please.. It has the C32 badge and I even used C32 exhaust tips. There isn't much difference in terms of performance between a C55 and C32, so I really don't get what you're trying to say. I'm trying to look like a car that isn't any faster?

I think it looks good. Connecting the tip just to say its connected seems pointless to me. The additional piping would prove to be merely an expensive hangar. Regardless, both tacts are purely cosmetic so I see no difference other than the price.

I guess I'll add my $0.02 here, but it's probably nothing that hasn't been said already.
I agree with a previous poster about most of our mods on this forum being cosmetic mods, but that some mods just have to be done right or not done at all. A quad exhaust is one of the mods that falls into this category.

wow. who. really. gives. a. f*ck.
I could care less if the tips weren't hooked up. Quad exhaust on the c-classes always look better than just double. Its still an AMG. End of story.

Like white on rice
I just don't see the point in the quad tips. If I wanted them, I'd have bought a C55. I love the look of the C32. It's a 100% 'wolf in sheep's clothing'...and I like the fact that not everyone knows that....especially the hard core Hyundai (substitute any Korean brand here) 'ricers' with a crazy paint job and overdone spoiler. LoL. You gotta laugh. I'm totally happy with the original C32 look and I get a kick from knowing that the C200 I passed today knows the difference.
Question, if I put a flat badge on the hood, am I a ricer?

lol. Starting this thread was worth it just to see all the retarded comments. 2 Full 8 hour track days at Shannonville Pro track the past 2 weeks and not a single person noticed they weren't connected. Everyone thought it came stock that way. Nobody said "why are you trying to look like a C55?" My car looked completely stock aside from the CF bits on the front and rear. Plus, who would call a car with GSCS R-compounds rice?
Flame me if you will for having a fake exhaust pipe, but saying that I'm trying to look like a C55 is just plain stupid. Had I wanted to do that, I would have removed the V6 kompressor badges as well as the rear C32 badge? So I guess me and a whole bunch of other people with a C55 rear spoiler are being pousers as well.

No, neither high nor retarded. Thanks for your concern. If I had felt that an 'AMG is defined by the quad exhaust', I wouldn't have bought a C32. I would have found a C55 instead. I don't see the point in putting quad tips on a C32. Faux or not. The good fellows at AMG obviously agree. So, if you want quad tips on your AMG, to define it, buy one that has quad tips from the factory. Like a C55.

So why didn't those "good fellows" at AMG put a flat badge on the hood? Seems like you have slightly different taste than the engineers. Maybe next time you shouldn't buy a car unless it meets all of your expectations. Meanwhile, we here will make changes to our vehicles that suit our tastes.

Well Chris, we'll have to agree to disagree and allow ourselves to get back to more important discussions. This isn't going anywhere. No hard feelings.

Might as well tell everyone with a CL type grill to buy a CL. Afterall, obviously money is no object for you. Would you flame me if I got 18" C55 rims as well and tell me to buy a C55?
It's symmetrical, that's all I care about. I liked the diffuser, and the diffuser looked stupid with a single sided exhaust, that's my main reason for getting the quad. I could care less whether or not a C55 had one or people thought it looked like a C55, not what I'm trying to accomplish.
Chris has a good point. What you're basically saying is that if you wanted quad exhaust, you'd buy a C55 instead. That's the dumbest comment I've ever read in my life. Are those really the only differences between the 2 cars? It's fine if you're not into "customizing", but I don't like the fact that the C32 looks so understated. My car, my decision. If you like cars that all look the same, that's up to you.

NO, unless its Race inspired??? Technically it cuts down on the CD, so yes, it means it is race inspired, unless of course you turn the 3 pointed star sideways parallel to the road and perpendicular to the windshield to "cut" the air and then that's race inspired as well, giving you better aerodynamics. ala thiseven the box comes in faux Carbon Fiber which makes it lighter and stronger):
