A few random questions..
First of all - what is the best way to get a body-colored black grill? I asked my painter if he could do it to my OEM grill, he told me that he could do it, but that it would only take a single stone chip to make the paint start peeling off. Would I be better off with something like this? Would the paint stick better to that? I've searched the forums quite extensively, and failed to find a solid answer to this question.
Second question - My car has a phone cradle next to the Comand system, as pictured here. I'm wondering if this was a factory installed option? I saw a picture of the same cradle in a w203 recently, where he had installed the ViseeO bluetooth adapter (this one) and it worked just fine. The cradle is made for the Nokia 6210 phone. I tried to install one that I had laying around with no luck, which reinforced my belief that it was an OEM or dealer-type system. Can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks in advance.

In regards to the grill - there was a recent thread in the C32/C55 forum that included some good info on using plasti dip and/or black vinyl wrap to accomplish what you want...

I painted my stock grill black and used many layers of the enamel paint, and enamel clear coat. Your painter is right when he says a single rock will chip it... After a few weeks it looked like crap, so I switched back to my CL style grille.
