2011 MCS II DVD Nav Update C CLK M R G GL
Anyone have the latest (2011) Nav Update disc for the MCS II COMAND System?
It's compatible with:
MY05-MY07 C-Class
MY05-MY09 CLK-Class
MY06-MY08 M-Class & R-Class
MY-07-MY08 G-Class & GL-Class
Looking to rent it if anyone has it. Just did my S550 through a member rental and it turned out great!

My bad...
S class Nav's are a hard drive install, no disc required after the install. That's why I was thinking rent which lots of people are doing on the S and CL forums. But the R-class does require the disc to be inserted while in use.
So I need a back-up copy, anyone able to do it for me? I can pay for the disc and shipping.

This is gooig to open up a big can of worms with the "that's not right wah wah wah" crowd, so I'll proactively come to your defense and say, you know whats not right? Charging $300 every year for a data DVD. Car companies are taking advantage of this while they can, until consumers wake up and say hey you know what Mercedes? I paid $100k for my car, prepaid $2k in maintenance, and even paid $50 for that stupid little keychain.....why on earth should I in addition pay to have an updated use of the nav system? Oh by the way, I paid $3k extra for that system as well.
Garmin sells a plug in unit for $200 and includes maps forever so I can actually use the product i nought from them. So Mercedes, what will you do for me?
In 3 years map updates will all be covered.

I am with you - a DATA disk for 250 bucks.....Come on that is unfair in everyway!!!! If I had it I would upload it on piratebay and make it FREE for anyone to have!!! Would love to know where I can rent it?

I've been keeping my maps updated regularly and the only difference that I see is more trailer parks showing up. Kind of makes you wonder about the emerging MB demographic.
