But just to make it clear, all the current exhasut TIG welding and the initial installation was done by RPM North on LI. I see that I havn't mentioned RPM North yet. Bergen Imports does not do TIG welding.
Wait... so which place to get the resonator and secondary cat cut off??

Where can I get the pipe?

My resonator and the secondary cats where removed by Bergen Imports about 5 years ago. The latest exhaust work was done by RPM North because they have a TIG welder on staff. It was a big job involving building the downpipes. To remove the resonator and the secondary cats you can just go with MIG welding.
Here is a link where you can get 5' of quality SS T304 pipe in 2.5" size. http://www.amazon.com/Vibrant-2641-S.../dp/B001804SCM
Some people used 2.75". It's up to you. Not sure if 5' will be enough. Will check for you when I get home.

Measured and actually the resonator was replaced with a 2.75" SS T304 pipe 24" in lenght and the secondaries where replaced with 2.5" SS T304 pipes 12" each.
