Wow! Doesn't look like a car with 60k miles at all!

The interior looks very fresh too! Congrats!

Quote: Car looks great, congrats. Wow, $15k for a clean, unmolested C55 with a desirable color combo and options. What's a comparable C32 worth these days, $10-12k?
Hey hey hey, there'll be no kind of talk like that here!!

FWIW, I'd get it a tune for about $300 clams.(or you can spend almost $300 and get a SB and think you're fast)

Car looks a LOT like my C32 in all black. Looks good. I see you're in IL. Where abouts???

I'm not planning to as I'll put winter tires on them, but I'll let you know if ever I change my mind.

I used 36mm festoon LEDs.

What do you mean by "preview"? Pictures or review?

I bought some for my C32 and C55 from aznoptics and they work great. I had some before that would give me an occasional error, but these do not give me an error what so ever. I would PM him directly, I think he was selling them for $20. Here is a link so that you can pm him:

+1 ^.

I got mine from AZN Optics too. It doesn't throw any errors. Seems to be of good quality but I cannot comment on its longevity yet since I only had the bulb for 3 weeks (and I only use the car on weekends). Get the 5000K version if you want the color that will match our bi-xenons the closest.
It's not a perfect match, but it's not bad at all as you can see from the pic in the first page.

Some things to note on installation: The festoon bulb mounts loosely on the lens/cover, so make sure that the LED part is STILL facing down when you mount the lens covers back to the contact points (especially when installing with the trunk open). And before you screw the lens/cover back, test first if it's lighting up since there's a 50/50 chance that you got the polarity backwards.

I'll try to take pictures tonight.

Quote: Nice! Keep those exhaust tips nice and shiny. Clean them regularly
I just did the tips today. I can't believe I spent two hours just buffing those 4 tips! I had to use #0000 steel wool and some metal polish to get rid of that nasty carbon build-up. Lots of elbow grease involved.

They're nice and shining like new now!

Great car, absolute beauty!! I'd only have black cars if I had the time or a live-in car detailer. Can't believe the bargain you got. Paid premium for mine in 2006. Enjoy.
