Can't beat the value + performance you get from them
Good to hear that - I was a Toyo Proxes T1R guy, through and through, for the past 4+ years, and it's such a grippy tire, which I love... but if you EVER get on the pedal from standstill, corner hard, etc., you will burn through these tires, and they're pricy ($285 rear, $215 front) to replace for someone who doesn't track their car!

Anyways, looking forward to my first run on new wheels & the new hankooks, and I'll report back soon & with pics also!

Buddy, you are missing the point. It is a direct tire comparison. Do you think if they take the same tires on put them on a C55, you would end up with a different result??? Go to your local autoX events, see what tires the hot cars are running. I don't care if it's a GTR, Exige, STI or S2000. The fastest street tire cars are either running Khumo or Dunlop or they are on R compound tires.

S55 AMG
I just bought a pair of V12's for the rear of my S55. So far they are working well. They seem to warm up a little slow, but that's good for tread life I guess. They're not noisey, and do well in the rain. I think they are an over all good buy. I'd do it again.
