I too am having a rough idle at start and also a slight missfire when I boost over 14.5 psi (I put on the 185 pulley). I am buying the map sensor today from the dealer and it should be here tomorrow. I'll let you know after I put it on if it helps me at all.

I changed my fuel filter out to a new mahle and now it runs perfect. Turns out that the crap filter from autozone had a bad pressure regulator.

I'm glad that's all it was. I was thinking that I was wrong, but you had all the signs and symptoms from a bad pressure regulator.

Yeah! Never buy a fuel filter from autozone anyone! This is not a part to skimp on!

Sorry to bring up old thread but over the weekend with my son driving he kept speeding up and relaxed between 60-90 mph on tollway for us in IL anyways check engine came on engine ran really rough had him pull over car eventually turned off on restart it ran fine....temp gauge was always normal. Once home used my code reader and it had multiple cylinder misfires along with p0108. I don't know if because of my son's driving if somehow it triggered this codes but it's running perfectly now...car has 106k on it driven weekends summer only. Was thinking of testing the map sensor to see if running properly...is there a method or two on how to do it?
