need new pads on C55

Any suggestions on where and brand to buy to keep OEM as possible without paying dealership prices, I have an MB tech that does the work pro-bono

I just did this on my C55...I bought the "best" pads NAPA has to offer for around $90 as well as a new break wear sensor for $8. Took me a grand total of 2 hours start to finish to do the job. The rotors can be turned (don't listen to these knuckleheads that say they can't) if they aren't too worn. The NAPA machine shop had a book with min-thickness requirements. Good luck!

akebono brake pads are the best. not sure the price compared to oem but the stopping power and best of all, next to no break dust makes it worth every penny. i will never go back to oem again. they;re available on tire rack.

You can buy stock Jurid pads through many of our preferred online vendors for pretty cheap prices

EBC Green or Yellow Stuff, second choice would be stock. EBC's are a big improvement over stock.
