Headlights!

Hello all,

I am a new member of this forum. I have a 2002 C32 AMG and I have a quick question regarding the headlights.

I have searched and searched for a while now but can't get the exact answer I'm looking for so yes I used the search button lol.

I have the old foggy looking headlights with OEM xenon. I want the newer bi-xenon look.

My options? Depo projector or the OEM bixenon.

I dont want to spend to much money and I know it can be done with depo's but I just don't know how. Do I order an aftermarket HID kit?

Thanks for the help in advance!

I've already spent so much time searching! I read something about H7 kits and what not. I just need some clarification.

If i go with these, does the dealer have to switch my computer setting or will this work problem free?

Should work problem free since we already have HID Present.
U may confirm with the vendor first, they've been around a while.

Nice! Does anyone recommend buying them with hid kit installed or using my OEM HID kit?

since you already have the OEM xenon, you may need to retrofit to make them fit in the DEPO projector lights, due to the fact that they are H7 housing (meant for 203s without OEM xenon)

They are guiding you in the right path.. What SGTzAMG is explaining is that the ebay headlights are made for the w203 which come with the H7 bulb type.. All they do is pre-install the HID's for you using a retrofit H7 HID set in order for it to be compatible with the headlights.. You have the oem xenon set already, the bulb sits inside the igniter connecting to the housing.. Your oem set would not work since it has the igniter connector and not the H7 found in the ebay headlight set..

So does that mean that I would have to connect the OEM xenon to the new ballast or what? I have dealt with HID before but it was from halogen to HID. I have no clue how to go form Xenon to aftermarket HID kit.

Can someone check these out though... it says only for OEM Xenon kits.

Those will work with your oem xenon set.. Only problem would be that your oem D2R xenon bulbs are not made for projector use. This ebay set is equipped for D2S xenon bulb use, which is made for projectors.. The D2R and D2S bulbs share the same base so fitment is not an issue but i don't know how your light output will be or if your cut off line will be affected by the oem D2R bulb.. Other than that, your ballast and bulb should fit.. You should email the seller and ask about the D2R to D2S light output difference..
