Moving to the snow...should I sell my C55?

Hahah oh ****, I didn't realize they got that much snow. In that case you're probably better off selling the C.
We get maybe 2 or 3 snow "events" every year, typically only a few inches, and a handful of days with icy roads. Every couple of years we'll see a 10-12 inch snow event, but the main roads are usually plowed the same day and all you have to worry about are the side roads.

Ok guys, I bit the bullet. Bought it for $1,400...STEAL! Everything works minus the A/C. 101,000 miles, 1990 Isuzu Trooper. I got 4 stock rims with brand new tires with it also!

Good choice in picking up the truck. Normally I'm an advocate for the C55 and snows in winter, but this is different. For those who are driving in other cold places, you don't understand--it's not the same where he's going.
I'm from Western New York and the Tug Hill Plateau (where Fort Drum is loacated) is absolutely BRUTAL when it comes to snow. Given the prevailing westerly winds and Fort Drum's location directly east of Lake Ontario, it gets pounded relentlessly as the moisture picked up from the lake gets dropped once the winds hit land.

But it's a beautiful area. Make sure you hit the Adirondaks and Thousand Islands when you're there. You're also not too far from Montreal, so be sure to head up there for weekends when you can. It's a blast.
