Anyone familiar with the Xentry system?

Through a friend of a friend...I've gotten a hold of the Xentry system aka STAR(DAS) and popped it onto an extra laptop we had laying around. (boy is it a PITA to setup) Anyone happen to know which menu enables the Norway option? There are a number of menus, most of which are pretty self explanatory. However I don't see a menu for security system under the American platform options.

I plan to upgrade the transmission software later this afternoon to see if it helps with the 1500k Jerk. Not holding my breath but I'll report back if it does. Will be working on the car later this afternoon.

Check out this thread, there is a how to at the bottom of the page. You can also delete the no phone screen, but I can not recall how.

There is supposed to be way to turn on the lock/unlock chirp without using the Netherlands function (so you an keep the panic function), but no one has posted the directions on how to do that.

Well we didn't have much luck today. Turns out you need to have the multiplexer. I have a USB to OBD 2 but the system doesn't seem to work that way. So, looks like we'll be purchasing a multiplexer before moving forward.

Lemme know where you find one. So far, my search has only turned up ones that run $800+

Yes must have multiplexer, as for Netherlands mode was playing around with my C55 at work and I believe if my memory serves correct if you go into control units then to body I believe you can change the country in there. As for your 1500 rpm shift try and clear adaption values in the trans. To do this go into control units, Transmission and in that menu it should say adaption values, with DAS you will have to clear them one at a time. On the screen it shows

1-2
2-3
3-4
4-5
5-4
4-3
3-2
2-1

Click on each one and remove adaption values. Once this is complete drive the car easy for the first couple days as it will relearn how to shift and react to certain driving styles.

@Number one.

Thanks! I greatly appreciate that. We plan to order a Multiplexer shortly. Though I don't have the link off hand, I believe my brother did find one for around 400 bucks. Though I'm not sure it was a Mercedes Benz Multi.
