VSS (variable speed sensor) wire diagram!? NEED HELP!!!
Alright i just got an Alpine Navigation. I have a 2003 C240. The problem is we cant find the VSS wire. Where is it!!!!!??????? I tried the search option and saw the diagrams for the CLK's or other class models but i didnt find a green/violet wire. We tried tapping the black/green, green/white, white/green, blue/violet wires. Nothing worked!
Can anyone please help!?

maybe, just maybe
OK here are a couple of obscure notes I saw that may be a hint for you. Don't ask me I don't know. The normal radio in C-Class doesn't use the usual VSS "wire". (The radio does "know" speed because it does lower and raise volume based on speed. So it seems that the speed sense is incorporated onto the bus). But good news is VSS does appear to be available as a "wire" in the passenger kickpanel, read below:
"[add an additional speed pulse coming out of the rightside doorsill (connect to a unused ended green with black line wire)
In the passenger kickpanel there should be a green with black wire which is unused.
The speed sensor is indeed hooked up from the single unused wire in the passenger kick panel.]"
Good Luck
