Depends on what you're looking to do. If you want to chase records, the 185 (and a lot of track days) would be best. If you want a simple-swap to get you a meaningful improvement from stock, the SC pulley would probably be the ticket.

FWIW, if I were doing it all over again and was starting today with a stock C32 - I would do FMHE, SC pulley, tune, and call it a day (for power mods, at least). YMMV of course.

Can i ask for specific reasons why one would choose the SC pulley over the 185 pulley? The 185 gives more power, and only a $100 difference in price?

Is there a difference in install time ( labor)? difference in reliability?, driving behavior?

Many reasons though, but if you concern about power, 185mm is the way to go. Here are some:

1) You only overdrive the supercharge itself, not other equipments (Alternator, Power steering system, A/C compressor etc) hence less potential troubles/problems. I think this is the main reason.
2) You can run the supercharge pulley with or without tune. The 185mm hardly can run without a tune.
3) Very easy to install (15-30 minutes first time and may be 10 minutes second time ) while the crank requires 1-2 hrs to install.
4) Cheaper (not too much though)

and maybe some more reasons? Anyone?

PS: I personally will not consider the current 65mm supercharge pulley unless they make it smaller 60 or 62mm with small bearing to make boost equal to 181/185 crank. Please we do not discus about bell slip here . I went with the supercharge pulley for power increase and eventually changed to 185mm for the same reason (power, more power)

a car.
5) I went with the S/C Pulley because Jerry twisted my arm until I told him yes he could throw the prototype on my car. And by twisted my arm I mean I said Hell Yes! before he even finished asking.

Seriously though, it's all depends on what you're looking for. The supercharger pulley is slightly cheaper and should pose almost no risk for malfunction of itself or other parts. It's less power than the 185 but try telling the to the back of my skull thats become very well acquainted with my eyeballs since the install.

Thanks guys. I pretty much get it now.

But I the power difference is only a few hp. ( comparing this graph to the dyno graph for the 185 on the eurocharged website.)

So its basically about your personal preference. If only planning pulley, tune, and cooling... the power difference between both types of pulleys seems almost negligible ( max 10 HP difference?)
