Hi guys

Yesterday I was driving my 2002 C32 and came to stop at traffic light and the engine stalled. A red light came on screen and said alternator/battery for a few seconds and went away. I put the car in park and re-started the engine no issues and drove home. I parked on driveway and 2 hrs later I was pulling out when the power steering stopped working and the car stalled again. Again started it and no issues.
Today I took the car to a mechanic and on the way I noticed that the clock time was off my more than 7 hours. At the mechanic, he tested the battery reads 12.4 and after starting it reads 14.2 which he says indicated that the alternator is fine.

Any ideas?
