Muffler Delete?

Well right now I just have the resonator delete, but I want to get some more sound and looks. Now I have a choice between weltmeiser (look) exhaust or true dual with an x pipe resonated...

Do you have a tune? I only have a resonator delete but after my last eurocharged tune my car has a really nice rumble to it although I may still delete the secondary cats for better flow.

was just reading about true duals on an LT1 forum because I do alot of highway driving and am tired of the drone between 2500 and 3000 rpm that I get with the resonator deleted. I was thinking of going with the magnaflow 2 in 2 out muffler where my resonator was which has an internal x pipe. one recommendation someone made was after your X- pipe you can put in an H-pipe and that will cut down on your resonance. any thoughts?

No I don't have a tune yet, but I plan to in the future. thtguy, this is exactly what I wanted to do. I wanted to remove my secondary cats and put in the magnaflow resonated x pipe.

But after being warned about the rasp I was a little turned off. I'm doing this to my car to make it sound more AMG-ish. I dont want it to sound all raspy and ricey.

I went to Jom Henson...priced all work and labor for 590! For a dual exhaust custom made, with the rear bumper outlet fabricated!
there was another shop that i went to that wouldnt even touch it without the rear diffuser, but it measures out to 7.5 in from the end of the bumper to the end of the furthermost exhaust side.
