Anyone know differences in HU 718/4x and HU 718/5x Mann oil filters?

I grabbed some on ebay but the 4x appear to be lower quality.

C32/C55 AMG
5x is suppose to last 10k miles and 4x dies not last as long. 5x is the factory recommended filter.
