Mad props to DYNOCOMP!

So I flew to AZ and picked up my car yesterday. Car was not only washed but detailed before delivery to me. On top of that they did not even charge me for two extra tanks of gas when I asked them to test drive it for another two weeks before pickup. Finally, they deducted 5 hours of electrical and vacuum diagnosic and repair after determining that I needed a new wire harness. Last but not least, they replaced and installed the smog pump FREE of charge after finding out it died during the 2 week test drive.

I don't expect them to do this with every customer but this kind of outstanding service is rare.

My drive home was sheer joy. The car feels alot stronger and faster than before. No more check engine lights. The exhaust sounds sweet. The accelleration never ceases even past 120mph (short safe spurts on vacant AZ desert highways) whereas last year when I ran 12.5 ET@116trap (110F Fontana in August with Street tires and 19" heavy wheels) the car seem to stop building acceleration before the end of the quarter.

I am super pleased with the results! Rich repeated to me while I was test driving it that he feels this car is definitely alot faster than his previous prized Hooley C55 project that he built. I told him that Hooley's car today is not necessesarily in the same condition as it was in its prime but he was silent and did not agree or disagree.

I trust DynoComp so much that I changed my plans on buying a 2012 M5TT or CLS63TT next year and just have Rich tune a 2008 S65 or slap a Weistec and long tubes on a 2008 CLS 63. Cheaper and alot more power potential than the brand new vehicles while not sacrificing much reliability and bearing little risk.

Rich and Dynocomp are the best. There is a reason why that was the shop I went to back when I lived in AZ.
