Wheel repair shop in northern chicago?
Any recommendations?
I know Wheel Tech in Highland Park does a good job but they charge a minimum of $130 a rim. It's hard to justify this if you got the set of wheels for way less than that (got a set of 19" Bremmas for a little over than $300).
The rims aren't really in bad shape, just a minor curb rash on 2 wheels, no bends/cracks. I actually just want to have the lips re-polished since the spokes are perfectly fine, but they said that they'll charge the same even if they do just that. Any other reputable shops around this area?
